Džūkste Fairy Tale Museum is located in the building of the former Lancenieku School, which was the residence and workplace of the teacher, writer, fairy tale and legend collector, scholar, gardener and public worker Ansis Lerhis-Puškaitis (1859–1903).
Visitors are welcome to listen to Džūkste fairy tales and tell their own, participate in puppet theatre plays and celebrate children’s birthdays. The younger visitors will have a chance to go on a journey with Tom Thumb and Bigeater, where they will search for treasure and trick robbers.
